Agent C. Neal Titcomb was killed in Marine City, Michigan, when his patrol car was struck by a train.

He was pursuing a suspect thought to be a bootlegger when his vehicle struck a patch of ice and slid into the path of an oncoming train's path. The collision knocked Agent Neal's vehicle it over 100 feet.

Agent Titcomb was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was survived by his expectant wife and three children.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
