Raymond Tehan

Patrolman Raymond Tehan died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash the Bronx River Parkway that occurred on September 27th, 1925.

He was pursuing a speeding vehicle near Bronxville when his motorcycle and an uninvolved vehicled collided. Before he died, Patrolman Tehan reportedly told the medical examiner that the motorist that hit him was not responsible for the crash.

Patrolman Tehan was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
