View all 18 ReflectionsRest in peace, Uncle John. I only got to know you for the first 13 years of my life but have never forgotten the fun times we had visiting you and Aunt Barb at your home in Hubertus. I remember the names of your horses, playing at the gravel pit, and of course that horrible week in August 1977. 44 + years later, you're still a hero to me and always will be.
