Alexander C. Stutt

Patrolman Alexander Stutt suffered a fatal heart attack while he and other officers carried a refrigerator down a flight of stairs at 5115 13th Avenue in Brooklyn.

A leak in the refrigerator had caused it to leak toxic fumes and Patrolman Stutt responded with other members of the Emergency Services Unit to remove it.

Patrolman Stutt had served with the New York City Police Department for 12 years and was assigned to Emergency Squad 12. He was survived by his wife.
