Private Stanski was killed in an automobile accident while pursuing a speeding vehicle in Silver Spring Township. As he approached a railroad crossing he observed a train coming and slammed on his brakes, causing his vehicle to flip over. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries six days later.
Private Stanski had been with the agency for four years and was survived by his mother.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
