Correctional Officer Boyd Spikerman was killed when he was stabbed, beaten, and strangled by an inmate at FCI Oxford in Oxford, Wisconsin.

The inmate wanted to kill a guard so he could join the Aryan Brotherhood. The subject was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Officer Spikerman.

Officer Spikerman had served with the Federal Bureau of Prisons for six months.
