I was a deputy from 1968 to 1979 and part of that time served at the City of Industry Substation where Sgt "Larry" Smith was my patrol sergeant. What I remember most was his free spirit and great laugh. We socialized some and I remember that for awhile he dated a girl that used to cut my hair. I was sad to see him leave patrol for SEB but it was something he really wanted to do. RIP Larry you are not forgotten
