Patrolman A.B. Smart was killed in an automobile accident while on duty in Catawba County.
Patrolman Smart,
Even though it has been over 72 years since you died in the line of duty you are still remembered. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of North Carolina.
