Officer Simmons was my father. I was only nine months old when he passed. I got to know him through my grandmother, his mother, who is now passed. My older sister is a police officer in the State of Georgia, and I am a court reporter in West Virginia. Even though we did not get to know him, he has truely inspired both of us. We love you Dad!
