Your memory carries on nearly 50 years later to those you never met, but might have if not taken so from a beautiful career. I passed the Patricia M. Scully Memorial Highway section of Calif Hwy 1 today. As a former Ranger and Ca DPR employee I had to research who you were. I hope peace has found you and those close to you.

California State Rangers like you inspired my career a decade after your end of watch. Thank you for service, taken far to young but never forgotten. Thanks to those who got the section of highway named in memory to honor your service and ultimate sacrifice.
