Every November I think about this.
This date was my first day as a television news intern and this was my very first destination.
It was awful and sad. And I've never forgotten. To the Salazar family, and to all the other families living with the loss of a loved one who made such a costly sacrifice, I say: you are not alone. There are plenty of people like me who hold you in our hearts. And always will.
