William T. Rumble

Police Officer William Rumble was killed when his patrol car was struck by another vehicle at Fifth Avenue and Pine Street.

He was ejected from his vehicle onto the pavement and then run over by his own patrol car.

Officer Rumble had served with the Seattle Police Department for six years. He was survived by his wife and two daughters.
