Wayne, I'm thinking of you today as we all remember our fallen hero's. You and I attended MP school together as members of E-11 and then went our separate ways in the Army. You finished your Army career as I did at WSMR, you joined the NMSP and I the LCPD.
I was in Washington DC in when your name was read on May 15th, 1989. I visited the NLEO Memorial in Washington DC again this year and found your name on the wall and thought of our time together in Alabama.
I wanted to Thank You for all of your support and friendship, all those years ago in 1983 when we were both far from our families. You were a quiet calming force in many ways and for that I will always be grateful.

God Bless you,

Paul Allen
US Army and former LCPD
