Officer Robertsons end of watch occurred before my start of service in 1967. I heard from older officers about his untimely death. I also served with several officers that wittnesed the excution of his killer. Over the years, on patrol, I drove by the scene of Officer Robertsons fatal shooting. Each time I stopped and reflected on his corageous service and his sacrafice. I will always remember officer Robertson and pray that he rests in peace. I also pray for his family and those who knew and loved him. I believe that God needed a good police officer and called officer Robertson to a higher service.
