George Milton Rickman

Undersheriff Rickman was shot and killed after ordering a man off of a train. Undersheriff Rickman observed the armed man board the train and attempted to stop him. The suspect was wanted after escaping from General Hospital in Wichita and for two robberies. The man was later shot and killed by a posse.

Milton rickman was my mothers uncle, he died in my mothers arms, Bessie rickman Jennings, it was always told that my mothers hair turned grey overnight, her dad Albert Arthur rickman was the sherif of Coffey county, mom, grandma rickman and grandpa rickman lived at the jail and cooked meals for the prisioners
