Officer Daniel Pratt was shot and killed by gang members in a drive-by shooting. The shooter was sentenced to life in prison and the driver was sentenced to 25 years.
Officer Pratt had been employed with the Los Angeles Police Department for 6 years, and is survived by his wife and four children.
