The date I was sworn into office, March 2, 1992, I took the oath to protect and serve. For those we love and care about and the diverse community within. We also took another oath. To learn about all the greatness of those before my time such as you and teach others about your ways and most of all, to never forget. Although your time was before mine, you have been the epitome of what being a police officer is all about for so, so many. We are honored to speak about you, know your family and to carry an eternal commitment to never forget the legacy you left behind for us to learn from. I miss and love you my brother and may God be willing and in his time, I shall see you soon.
