I remember John David Patton from school in Grove City. Ohio. But I knew him as David Patton. I have thought about him many times over the years and had wished that maybe we would have met again. I had heard that he served in Viet Nam and lost his life there. I posted something on Facebook, and another graduate of Grove City High School 1967, knew about him and told me what she knew about really happened to him. She told me what she knew that really happened to him, that he died on the streets of Florida. David Patton as one of the nicest person toward me. He was a kind soul, and I remember this boy as being one of the only boys nice to me. I always said that if I ever had a baby boy that I would name him after David Patton. I'm so terribly sorry that he loss his life at such young age. But with that, I am so happy of the imprint his nice ways left in my heart.
