Officer Padian was shot and killed by a prisoner while assigned to the 32nd Precinct. He had been with the agency for 25 years and was survived by his wife.
I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Padian and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.
