Your message: Dear Parole Board Members: I ask that you please DENY PAROLE to Jose C. Gonzalez, inmate DIN #81A2175. The inmate's violent murder of Deputy Sheriff Kieran Grant in 1979 should preclude any consideration for parole. On Thursday, November 1st, 1976, Westchester County Deputy Sheriff Kieran Grant - who was unarmed - was shot and killed execution style by this criminal. After already shooting Deputy Grant three times at close range, inmate #81A2175 stood over him and shot him three more times in the back, killing him. Violence against law enforcement officers is on the rise. Many officers have lost their lives to parolees. Inmates who take the life of an officer should be subject to serve their full sentence, without parole. In the case of inmate #81A2175, a life sentence for murder should mean just that. As a concerned citizen, and in the interest of public safety, I am asking that you DENY PAROLE to inmate #81A2175. Justice demands that he be made to spend every day of his life in prison.
