A HEAVENLY HOME…

Are these magnificent creatures now with the Lord Himself in the Heavenly Realm? Pastor and Author Randy Alcorn at EPM.org certainly feels this is factual, and even devoted 2 chapters of his best selling “Heaven” book to establish his case. Many of his inspiring articles are at: https://www.epm.org/search/?q=Animals+in+Heaven. We can also get a glimpse of the Glorious Reunions awaiting their devoted Handlers, Trainers and Owners at ImagineHeaven.net May the Good Lord comfort these intelligent and brave animals and their human family and caring departments accordingly…

Rocky thank you for your Service. I am sorry that you passed do to carelessness . I'm not sure when Departments will learn or if they will ever learn that any kind of object that can fit down a Dogs throat is not good to use in any kind of training. This along with Dogs overheating in the back of Cruisers because the windows are left up because the air is on in the Cruisers so what leave the back windows down the bars are there for a reason. We have lost to many K9's do too these problems lets be smart and fix these problems.

A Prayer for K9 Rocky:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Genesse County, Michigan and to Genesse County Sheriff’s Office. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. In Luke 3:6 Jesus promised, “And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.” So, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! All dogs do go to heaven because you have a spirit that epitomizes God's unconditional love. After all, DOG is GOD spelt backwards! Now, my furry, four-legged Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here.

"Well done, good and faithful servant" [Matthew 25:11 ESV]

A Police Dog's Oath:

"I will lay down my life for you and expect nothing but love in return. I protect my officer with my life, and would gladly take a bullet in his/her place. I am sent in to find lost children and fugitives on the run. I find drugs and weapons and even bombs. I am the first sent in and sometimes the last to leave. I am the nose and ears of my officer. I will protect and serve my officer. I would die for my officer and for you. I only ask for compassion and a kind word in return."

Almighty God, the Genesse County Sheriff’s Office was fortunate to receive the gift of K9 Rocky from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with their loss with strength and courage. I know that their beloved companion no longer suffers, and will live on in many fond memories. May he always be remembered as a trusted colleague who completed his missions with true dedication as he was trained, as well as, the unconditional love he provided his handler and caregivers. May the Lord God bless you always. In Jesus’ holy and mighty name, I pray. Amen.

K-9 Rocky, You were far too young to be taken home and losing you leaves our great State with one less hero. But your short life was one of honor, devotion and love. May your partner Deputy Sordyl, his family and the department cling tightly to precious memories and know that in God's timing, He purposefully chose the time, place and people for you. You completed your mission perfectly, just as He already knew you would. May God pour out His grace and peace on those who loved and worked with you.
