Officer Kyro may you rest in peace and God has welcomed your soul to heaven may you come back again as another officer I'm sorry that the heat made you so confused to bite your Handler but all know he's forgiven you for your bite. I just wish it was pepper spray used and maybe you would still be with your officer Handler. I know he's very proud of you as other officers are sorry for your loss sweetie.

No one knows why God allows unbearable suffering to enter into our lives, especially when it happens to those He has appointed to such a high calling. When it makes no sense, we are confused. Even though there is no answer now, rest assured that this was allowed by God for a specific reason. Be comforted and loved in His arms. Let Kyro rest now, after serving his position so very well. Picture his tail wagging with joy at seeing you when you meet again someday.

K9 Kyro:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Houston County, Georgia and to the Houston County Sheriff's Office. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always.

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]

Let us Pray: Almighty God, the Houston County Sheriff's Office was fortunate to receive the gift of Kyro from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with his loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of his loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which he was trained. We pray that his accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that he will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for him. After all, DOG spelled backwards is GOD! Amen
