That really upsets me! This beautiful devoted animal risks
her life everyday to protect her handler and society and this
is how she gets repaid? By dying a horrible death at the hands
of her handler. This animal didn't ask to bd on the police force, buy dutifully
did as she was asked and happily I'm sure. How on eartb
can you forget that your living breathing devoted canine
working partner in the car??? No animal should die
because of compete carelessness and cruelty. To me
this is sad and should not have happened, would it be
ok and excusable if it was a child? To me thus officer
should be punished and go through more training. He was
responsible for tbis beautiful Lina's safety and welfare6. It
makes me sick to think about what she was feeling emotionally
and physically. The officer feels horrible I'm sure but it
doesn't compare to how upset and confused Lina
must have been wondering where her buddy was and
feeling abandoned.

K9 Lina:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Madison County, Arkansas and to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always. FURRY BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]

Let us Pray: Almighty God, the Madison County, Arkansas Sheriff’s Office was fortunate to receive the gift of Lina from You. Now that she has left this life, please help them cope with her loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of her loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which she was trained. We pray that her accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that she will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for her. Amen
