Reflections for K9 Jardo

What a beautiful tribute to you,Jardo, at the Peace Officers Memorial. in Meridian Idaho. I am so grateful for the artist that created the impressive work. I recently brought my son and grandson to visit, and I was so glad to see the piece. I have spent a lot time and took many photos with K-9 Deputies and they have all been so admired and respected within our agency, as well as the general public, as you obviously were. So sorry for your partner, I know he will hold the memories, hopefully mostly good, in his heart forever.

Canyon County Sheriff’s Office

Don’t grieve for me I served you well.
I loved you more than you could ever tell.
I am now an angel in blue.
I laid my life on the line for you.
I wore my badge with honor every day,
to keep citizens safe and out of harm’s way.
So when you see a badge worn with pride,
remember their comrades and friends that have died
