I always feel that it is wrong when I see a dog locked in a car. And for hours? A terrible way to die!

K9 Suki:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Westchester County, New York and to the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always. FURRY BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]

Let us Pray: Almighty God, the Westchester County, New York Department of Public Safety was fortunate to receive the gift of Suki from You. Now that she has left this life, please help them cope with her loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of her loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which she was trained. We pray that her accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that she will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for her. Amen
