The image of you being carried frantically by your partner to safety will never leave me; you died fighting for those (and the one) you love. Dogs ARE mans best and most loyal friends, better than human friends most of the time. Rest easy Credo, until you and your partner meet again..

My husband and I watched this very sad story on NBC news and we're heartbroken. No words can express our sadness. I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain. I know no words can do that. Just know you and Credo are in our thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss.

This just brought tears to my eyes - Officer Mark Parcells just lost his partner for no reason. To have to witness it, must have been extremely painful. Police Officers deserve better - both 2 legged and 4 legged. Thank all of you for giving Credo a proper send off. He loved you, Officer Parcells.

Some heroes have four legs, a wet nose, and a wagging tail. Thank you for your service. Rest in peace, K-9 Credo.

My deepest sympathy to Officer Mike Parcells and the LBPD for your loss. No K9 handler should have to bear the grief of losing his four-legged partner in the line of duty. I'm sure that Credo will be waiting across the Rainbow Bridge with all the other deceased K9s. RIP four-legged officer Credo and peace and safety to Officer Parcells and the LBPD.

My deepest sympathy to Officer Mike Parcells and the LBPD for your loss. Years ago I was at some street fair in South Pasadena where LBPD had a booth with one of their K9. I've long ago forgotten the K9's name, I've completely forgotten anything to do with the fair, but I've never lost the admiration, gratitude, and respect I gained for LBPD and their K9 units. RIP dear Credo and my thanks to you and all who serve LBPD for the magnificent example set of law enforcement officiers.

Another deeply sad day for law enforcement. The loss of another partner killed in the line of duty. I believe Credo is in heaven with all our brothers and sisters that have gone before us. For he gave his life to save others. My heart felt sorrow and prayers go out to the Department and his partner Officer Purcells. May God give you strength during this extremely difficult time.
