K9 Police Officer Falko, you died doing a job that you loved. You did the job not for the money but for a simple kind word and a scratch behind the ears. It is now your time to play over the Rainbow Bridge with all of your new friends. You will be missed by your two legged partner and other officers. Rest now Falko. To your handler Stay Strong.

I have so much respect for our canine heroes and the officers, also heroes, who respect the dogs, work with them and take care of them. In reading, viewing documentaries and having worked at a Veterinary office that treated some K-9 officers I had a peek into their lives and it is special who they are and what they do. Rest in peace Falko, and my sincerest condolences to your people. I shed some tears over your story and also seeing the respect your fellow officers have for you. In your honour I have put your end of watch picture as my wallpaper and I am teaching my grandson about you and the contribution of K9 officers and their partners. And how special that is.

I lost my 14 year old Angel 3 years ago. There is no other dedicated, loving, and beautiful K9 as a German Shepherd. That's why they are chosen for such important jobs. No 2 are the same colors, but another wii do some of the same things. The Joplin storm hit and I saw the K9 looking for people. I told my husband I want a older German Shepherd not a puppy. Sascha passed at home only 2 days and I was not doing well. He found a 4 yr old that someone did not want in a cage on a ranch. She needed us as much as we needed her. She is the size of Falco. I call her our funny little dog. She loves my husband even though I am home with her. It took me over a year to get over Sascha. Then we noticed Bug Bug would do some of the same things. God will take care of Falco because these are his special dogs. Watch your new K9 and you will see things that Falco did it will also. As if they are related with a special bond.
