"Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:43. All dogs go to Heaven! Let us remember your life and not obsess on the tragic circumstances surrounding your untimely death. MY PARTNER MY FRIEND
(A Police Officer’s dedication)
Many partners I have had. Friendships, feelings, respect, admiration and communication were shared, by most.
There was one who lost his life.

He was strong and commanding in stature, with speed and endurance he did possess. Unable to communicate like most but communicate he did, obeying his commands and duty without question regardless of conditions.

To speak as we know, he could not. To embrace with arms he could not. The harmony, friendship, feelings, admiration even love he and I shared was unique, that only a few could understand; each for the other.

Each together in different uniforms adorned. His gait showed he proudly served. I was privileged and proud to say he was my partner, never to be forgotten.

Always to be honoured. As a true member of the Hancock's Sheriff's department. Rest forever in peace!

From an excerpt writing for my non-human partner lost in the line of duty. D. Formica
