Thank you, sweet beagle, for your service and sacrifice. It is pathetic that your agency is not even holding a memorial service for you for your efforts and to honor all that you have done. However, you will always be remembered with gratitude by me. Godspeed, little dog.

You just have to love these dogs. They just live to please and protect. This death is the same as us human counterparts. To the handler of Tracker, I send you my deepest, heart felt condolonces. I know this must be a trying time for you. You had the great pleasure of knowing this special Law Enforcement Officer where most of us did not. It is my belief that you will see Tracker again. R.I.P. My deepest sympathies for your handler and partner. I am the portrait artist who created K9 portraits for Bruno, Kota and Bodie. I do this FREE of charge when a K9 is injured or killed in the line of duty. I do this to give some peace to the person it is affecting the most. I may be found by my name on the web. I've never painted a beagle and would be proud to make Tracker my first. Your bravery deserves recognition. May God Bless you.

So sorry to hear of the loss of K9 officer Tracker. Dogs like Tracker only want to please their human and was doing exactly what he was trained to do; (his job) In performing his duties he took a bullet for fellow officers. My prayers are with his handler and fellow officers, and your communties. Thank you to all law enforcement officers for your service. I hope the Bad Man that shot Tracker is punished to the full extent of the Law..

R.I.P. K 9 TRACKER..........you saved many lives, sweetie.......my sympathies to your handler and fellow officers
The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close -- we two -- these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

K9s are a blessing to officers. They should have had a memorial service for him. If I were an officer I would rather have a k9 partner than another officer partner.
