Hello!
This year I'm riding in the Police Unity Tour with the Delaware Chapter. The honor was given to me to ride for K9 Max. Can someone from the agency please contact me in hopes that I can send something in honor of K9 Max to his handler?
Thank you!

K9s like Max, full of selfless love,
And now he rests with God above.
He leaves behind a cherished friend,
To help the community, they did defend.
He served with honor, distinction and pride,
Many felt sorrow and many cried.
His memory will live on as he guards the above,
The good Lord thanks you and sends his love.

Respect and prayers after the loss of K-9 Officer Max.
There is no creature on this earth more selfless and loving.

He would not want you to be sad; you know that in your heart.
He would not want you to show your love for him with your tears but in your living as he lived; 100% in the moment; awaiting the next task; an opportunity to fight crime; to protect the young, the old the weak and the helpless; to leave each situation as well as this earth, better than how he found it.

I know that is what he did because that is what every good officer doers and did and will continue to do for all time.

Do not weep in my passing but laugh and smile at the good times we were truly gifted and blessed with. I would not have traded any one of those moments down here with you, for an eternity of mediocrity and we were blessed with many more than just one.

Your tears bring my tears and distract me from the joy that we shared, that neither time, space or even death can take away from us. I will see you at end of trail and again we will be together in a place where we no longer need to cure the chaos.

I will see you then. Fight the good fight.
