K-9 Mattie,

As the best partner your handler ever had, I would like to say:

Thank you for your service, your loyalty, and your untiring conviction and support to your handler. Your companionship, devotion to duty, love of your job, your toys and especially your handler, made him and his fellow officers more successful at their jobs. Know that you will not be forgotten for the fearless way you wore YOUR badge while doing the Job.

May you now rest in peace, knowing your fellow K-9's are picking up where you took your leave. So go now, courageous friend and fellow Officer, and take a "roll in the grass," and a "bite out of your chew toy" for me, and I'll see you down the road!

So sorry to hear about this As a former K9 handler, I can understand how the family must be grieving. Not only for the loss of the father and husband but the K9 was part of the family too. May the Lord give the family and his LE peers comfort
