Reflections for K9 Aron

I remember the morning too well. I left the scene and returned to the office when I received the call you didn't make it. It was so difficult to write the report of the circumstances surrounding your death. You exhibited what a true hero is on that morning.

I remember the day this happened. In fact we were driving by on 65 south just as officers were arriving to the wooded area. You paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting your handler. RIP Aron.

Officer Burnett,

You were blessed to have worked with a partner like this. Selfless, brave and dedicated, Aron was everything a real cop tries to be. He truly loved you.
