Advertisements on ODMP
Why are advertisements appearing on ODMP?
ODMP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is funded primarily through donations and grants. However, we also receive funding through our events, online store, and by allowing law enforcement friendly companies to display ads on ODMP. This diversified approach ensures that ODMP remains a free resource to law enforcement officers and agencies throughout North America.
How do I report an inappropriate ad?
We have taken precautions to prevent inappropriate ads from being displayed on ODMP. However, if you see an ad that is not compatible with ODMP's mission, please send us a message using our contact form. Be sure to tell us the website address displayed on the ad, or to which you are taken after clicking on the ad. We will only be able to review or block inappropriate ads if you provide this website address.
Can I disable ads during my ODMP visit?
We do not have the ability to allow you turn off ads through your ODMP Account settings. However, there are many free web browser "ad blocking" plugins you can install on your computer that may help in disabling ads on ODMP and other sites you visit.
