Constable Agostinho was killed in Millet, Alberta and another officer injured after a parked cruiser was rammed by a truck on a flat, straight section of the main highway south of Edmonton, RCMP say.
The suspect was convicted of dangerous driving causing death.
Constable Agostinho was previously posted in Cold Lake, Alberta. He had also served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He s survived by his wife and two children. | |
